During the early part of 2003, I came across a book by Timothy Freke and Peter Gandy, called 'the Jesus Mysteries.' It dealt with some amazing historical claims, and I wanted to represent in a largely allegorical, visual way, some of my feelings towards that book, and my feelings towards religious fundamentalism in general."-D.G.
