| Artists Master Bronze Turtle - Like Treasure Jests, Artist Masters are created by Peter Calvesbert and Paul Frape at Englands Wimberley Mills. Peter sculpts the original work in plasticene, after which Paul creates a master from the carving. Next, molds are filled with precious metal powders (in this case bronze) and specialized pigments. Two days after demolding, the finishing process begins, which involves extensive polishing on both a metal buffer and with wire wool. With a worldwide edition of only 250 each, the amount of labor involved in their creation may only be matched by the amount of time it will take to locate a piece.
